--[[OOC intro post - mentions of childhood #abuse , #discrimination , #mental-health ]]-- Gokkou is my trollsona. If you, the mun reading this, dislike Gokkou, you dislike me; hard block (OOC) me. Gokkou Aritun || Gemza || 11.5 sweeps || Nonbinary || they/them || 06/17 || Pansexual || Derse || Maid of Doom || 5"3 (161.5cm) || Riflekind & psionics Likes: Linguistics, music, voice synthesizers, astronomy & astrology, anthropology & sociology, video games, learning, collecting things, manga & books, fashion, diversity, pride Dislikes: Close-mindedness, their mental health, mother kitsune, social structures, a lot of meme culture, video game companies, microtransactions, digital media, kanji Gokkou = Kokugo meaning "native language" in Japanese || Aritun = Ruanti meaning "software" in various Chinese dialects || goh-koh ah-ree-toon -- first O has no lip curve, K has a glottal stop, second O has a lip curve --[[ABUSIVE LUSUS]]-- Gokkou’s lusus is a mother kitsune with two tails. She abused Gokkou, viewing them as a prodigy with a bright future ahead of them, pushing them assignments from any and every topic in existence. However, mother kitsune never provided any kind of teachings, purely expectations. As such, Gokkou had to self teach everything, stuck with their nose in books and eyes glued to computer screens, trying to figure out their assignments. In the end, they grew into The Imitator; of their tons of skills, Gokkou is most of all fantastic with their senses and mimicry. The mother kitsune’s abuse didn’t stop there; as Gokkou grew older, especially around the age of 4 sweeps, the lusus took less care of them, neglecting them over another wriggler, and eventually abandoning them altogether around 8 sweeps. This boiled their blood, and still does to this day, as mother kitsune didn’t abuse this other wriggler like she did Gokkou. --[[SGRUB SESSION]]-- In Gokkou’s timeline, Sgrub is a race game. It still works the same, except all Sgrub players are in teams against each other to try and win the game the fastest. The events play out the same as the Alpha timeline and the canon characters win the same. This saves all the other surviving players and they’re brought to the new world, as well as the original Earths and Alternia being re-opened for travel. Gokkou’s team discriminated them out of playing. Why? Their mental health condition. Gokkou deals with conditions like AuDHD, social anxiety, and depression, and their peers pushed them away for it; no sympathy. In the game, Gokkou was merely meant to make it through their gates and then withheld from playing any further. If they tried anything, their entire remaining team threatened force and violence. This is why they never reached godhood. The combination of Gokkou’s upbringing as well as the treatment from their Sgrub peers turned them into quite the hermit; morbidly stuck inside to their husktop. However, Gokkou isn’t morbidly stuck online like many might think. Most assume those morbidly stuck online are addicted to social media. They actually don’t use social media very much and are constantly doing offline activities, usually studying, creating, or playing music. --[[THE LINGUISTICS TROLL]]-- Gokkou discovered foreign languages from one of their lusus’s assignments. The assignment was not actually related to language; Gokkou sought it themself. Among their journey, they discovered voice synthesizers, one of which was shareware called UTAU. They were already inspired from their caste role-model twinArmageddons, why not check this software out to possibly assist language study, too? It could help learning to read or pronounce better. And what do you know? It did both. But it also sparked their passion in music. Previously, Gokkou rolled their eyes at the belief of music being its own “"language”“. But after this… they learned that it was true. (Yet why did they have so much trouble learning code? It was the exact same thing!) Along with the usage of UTAU, they started learning the bass guitar, their favorite instrument from their favorite genre: metal. However, this one they couldn’t mimic so well. They found it easier to replicate using their psionics to pull and hold the strings. (Maybe someday they’ll learn traditionally…) --[[THE PRESENT]]-- Now in the present, Gokkou has met Equius Zahhak ( @equiusZahhak ) and taken the role as one of his maids, living in the dorms of his mansion. To think this all started as some joke on tumblr over Gokkou’s Sgrub class… yet Equius truly offered to train them. Something about him just drew them in and so they agreed. He assisted them in finally reaching their god-tier ascension on Maid Day 2026. (Gokkou's study of code has started to come to some fruition, too.) --[[POWERS]]-- *(Pre-ascended ability) unable to die (has various chances with half ghosts, up to 4 tries) *(Pre-ascended ability) communication with ghosts and visions of doomed fates (Vision Two-Fold) *Creation of weapons (requires knowledge of how they work) *Control over various systems (likely has the same requirements) *Distribution of fears and fates i.e. peer has a doomed fate known so they give peer a grey-zone (unknown future), or someone has a crippling fear so they pass it onto an enemy, or maid gets caught in death (that is not Heroic/Just) and as a distributor, brings their enemy with (might be a Limbo half-dead half-alive ground) *Distribution of Purgatory i.e. banishment to the void, or helping someone reach a grey-zone; they’re not a genuine healer Gokkou was the recipient of Equius's knife crafted with connection to his own power source, enchanting it with the ability to draw magic after using the blade's tip to write words associated with set abilities, i.e. "blaze" summoning a fire. It does have limited power, needing to charge so often, and Gokkou was meant to experiment with finding its set spells, containing some esoteric choices along with typical elements.
