And by that I mean an intro. Let’s Take A Gander at Lialyi Pehtal! If it wasn’t clear to you already, viewreader, I am a person who is repulsed by the extractive nature of our HEMOSPECTRUM. It’s the closest I can get to being physically angry. No seriously. I literally cannot get angry. It’s difficult to accept things that make one’s (⒈’s) acid tract contort with intense viscerality. Sometimes you have to throw ↑ some VERBAL INDIGNITIES. I don’t usually encounter cases where the truth about Alternian society glares in your face in a way you can’t glance away from. But Lialyi is here——at least for the time being. Lialyi Pehtal is a helmstroll of the Exploratory Vessel Suneater, a PSIOPOWERSOURCE, and a testament to our HEAVILY-FLAWED hierarchy, so long as you sit in the lower range of it. Her posts are her way of grappling with the fate of IDENTITY ALTERATION. A product of the role foisted ↑on her. This is her archive, lines of code weaving a VIRTUAL PLAYTHROUGH of her tragic predicament. It’s a haunting FIRST-PRONG experience into the horrors of being forcibly recalibrated to be at one’s ‘BEST’ for the empire. Lialyi is, understandably, the GRIEVING SORT. Each stage can be directed to particular behaviours captured in her posts: She can be SHAKING WITH TERROR, making her presence a warning to those geared for the pilot’s helm. She can be SEETHING WITH RAGE, mere moments away from bringing fangs to skin, unafraid to bite off a few stumps and scream to the world. She can be HANGING BY A THREAD, open to manipulation, in times where it’s become hard to push back against authority. And yet, she has dwelled in acceptance for longer than she can pause to realize. In these gaps of vulnerability, you can see just how HARD she fights, especially for those she cares about. The systematic misery carried throughout her demeanor is pusherpressurising, but there’s an unrelenting element of her that just can’t cede, no matter how much they try to recode her. She knows her fate might be closer than she’d hope it is, I can’t begin to imagine how terrifying this is for you, dull acceptance to this predicament aside. This platform is watching you melt away, almost as though you are writing your own obituary. But I as-sure you, your cause of identideath will not be for rebelling. You still have that fist-balling FIGHT in you, the desire to push forward, to KEEP GOING. It’s why you still make posts to this account, even as we watch you get psychologically disciplined. Even if you’ve never intended to, you have made yourself into a statement, a reason for change powered by your moirail and ilk. You know that losing your identity might be an EVENTUALITY if you continue to break the rules. (But you know you won’t be going ↓ quietly. Why else would you be making ↑dates with your fleetmates knowledge?) Maybe this is silly to say, but there’s a part of you that still lives in that windmillhive with your lusus. She’s safe in your pusher, and in the intricacies of this digijournal. They might be able to change you now, but they will never rip the autonomy of the past from you.
