It was a lot less graceful t)(an just me announcing a Senate and everybubbly agreeing! First, I turned all of t)(e Coral Court’s little advisory councils into one provisional assembly. -Every major trenc)(, colony, fleet district, caste community, and labor corps was allowed to send representatives. Some elected t)(em! Some drew lots! T)(e assembly wrote a c)(arter separating t)(e treasury, courts, fleets, and lawmaking powers. T)(e Senate controls laws and spending. T)(e courts can overturn illegal acts. T)(e admirals answer to a civilian committee instead of w)(ic)(ever )(ig)(blood lays claim. T)(ere is also an emergency executive office, boat its powers expire after t)(irty days unless t)(e Senate votes to extend t)(em. @royalVizier )(elped wit)( t)(e wording! )(e was very insistent about expiration clauses. And succession procedures. And exactly w)(ic)( senators could never, under any circumstances, be placed alone in a room wit)( t)(e fleet codes. Strangely, every name on t)(at list later attempted somet)(ing awful. )(e )(as suc)( good intuition! T)(en, we )(eld elections under an independent commission t)(at I sourced t)(roug)( C)(ittr! Candidates )(ad to disclose t)(eir property, private armies, financial backers, and immediate plans for treason. I've been utilizing different 'verbiage' as to disguise empathy as 'Optimization' and 'Efficiency' I've been trying to work around the deeply rooted caste system and how to make something 'Healthier' around it, even if it is inherently something that is morally dubious.
