the expensive pricepoint of foods like lobster and brisket on earth was an artificial creation by the rich. they took what was poor people food and decided "ah fuck i like this, we gotta jack up the prices even though these foods are literally fuckin everywhere so people dont think were among the filthy poor for eating these" so yeah thats why lobster and brisket and other foods that were popular among the poor became so fuckin expensive that you couldnt even dream of buying one with your $7.25/hr minimum wage post-bush economy and even before then when you were paid in pence and shillings all because some rich blokes decided they really liked it and didnt wanna be associated with us filthy poors and also didnt want us filthy poors getting any of it for ourselves like everything else fuckin greedy capitalist bastards
