It's kind of like a prolonged stinging sensation and it feels like your nerves are cold-burning (for both heat and freezing) in the entire area around that limb. Then it kind of numbs for a bit, then goes tingly as it starts to heal. Touching it at any point before its a scar brings back the stinging sensation. Worth it tbh but make sure the shape is something you permanently want or can hide; the only way to get it off is by removing the skin.
