~~~~~~~~ A very busy week; one primarily spent retrieving, preparing, and restoring artifacts. And, naturally, hunting. I shall be sharing some of my finds from my explorations and my prey here over the next few nights, as the mood takes me.

~~~~~~~~ A find from the Imperial ship sunk last evening. [voraciousTreasure has uploaded a photo!] [A photo is uploaded. An imperial ship rests on the ocean floor, broken into several pieces. Several corpses drift about the shipwreck, mostly skeletal; the bones have been eaten clean, all of the ribcages broken open in a very specific way. The Physalia holds a delicate necklace up to the camera in a long-fingered, elegant hand, their fingertips and claws stained dark. The Physalia's left hand can be seen holding an elaborate bone brooch in their long, viciously sharp claws. The brooch is set with pearls and carved with the image of a sailing ship on the waves, two tiny gems marking out the two moons above the ship. Their fingertips and claws are stained dark; in the background, an empty, bloodied ribcage floats in the water, cracked open.))

~~~~~~~~ More people should dive confidently into the ocean depths of Alternia, unwilling to comprehend their own mortality. The overconfident, foolish ones are the most interesting to encounter. The ones who recognise me, however, are the most amusing. Both are fun to play with.

~~~~~~~~ Part of tonight's meal decided to swallow the rings she wore. I can only assume she thought doing so would either save her or the jewellery. She was proven wrong on both counts.

~~~~~~~~ Tonight's hunt was very successful; not only was it delicious, but I also recovered some pieces of rather lovely jewellery. ~~~~~~~~ I was briefly interrupted whilst retrieving an artifact, but at least it provided a decent meal, and one I barely had to hunt. ~~~~~~~~ My latest meal wore a rather elegant coat of ragseal hide, bearing an embroidered warning hidden amongst the lapel decoration. Said warning is a verse from a song I know very well. Given his fate, he should have heeded such words for himself, rather than hoping them upon his adversaries. I can only assume the pirates thought themselves immune to my tendencies, given the foolishness of the first few upon noticing me. I enjoyed my meal today, despite the lack of a true hunt; they delivered themselves into my claws. 'A creature, who lost a leg, is snickering this way: "The young lady over there, let's play!" Violet string tied to its collar cannot possibly be used in place of its lost leg. ~~~~~~~~ Tonight's find was a good one. The so-called 'Captain' who fancied this before I ate him had somewhat-decent taste, if only in his choice in jewellery. The hue is a little difficult to tell due to being underwater -- it seems some shade of purplish-pink. ~~~~~~~~ There were a group of idiots going cliff-diving. I only fully ate two of the five; the other three were on drugs of some kind and left a bad aftertaste. Ah well. The two untainted ones were delicious, though, so I'm glad I saved the majority of one to eat once I'd sampled the others. Also, one of them had a very nice gold necklace!
