Ok. You know you’re talking about rewriting a whole nervous system, though, right. You know you’re talking about trying to achieve things that trolls much older and more experienced than you have been trying to achieve consistently for a really long time, right. Yeah, you get the occasional success story, but the problem is that troll biology is so variable even within a single caste that if you get something that works once, there’s no guarantee it’ll work again, or that the subject won’t build up a tolerance, or that it won’t induce allergies, etc. etc. Also “harmful psiionics” is a loaded word in a gun I don’t want pointed at anyone.
