They are different castes. Lower castes have colder colors. It's a whole thing.

hmmm, wyll, you may want to take a seat for thys one because you're going to get a lot of dyfferent answers. the basics are that trolls have a spectrum of potential hues of blood that are associated wyth a stryct social caste system that operates slyghtly dyfferently depending on whych version of troll society you are looking at. the colors can gyve you an idea of what role in troll society the individual you are speaking wyth has, as wyll as the types of secondary characteristics they may possess. burgundy trolls have telekinetic powers, not to be confused wyth the much stronger psionic capacity of the yellow bloods just a few rungs above them on the spectrum! many ceruleans have empathyc psychic powers that can be used to hylp subdue pain or can be used to forcibly control the bodies and mynds of other trolls, typically those lower on the hemospectrum! and of course, the violet and very rare fuchsia castes are known as seadwellers, able to swim and survyve incredible depths due to slyght dyfferences in their biology compared to other trolls. thys is by no means an entyre breakdown of the system, and lyke i said before, it dyffers between troll societies, but i hope you found it informatyve!
