In the freezer a few months. You will want to crack into it by at least the fifth month. Deep freezer? Basically indefinitely as long as it is properly wrapped.

FREEZER IS THE BEST FOR MEAT. YOU ONLY USE THE FRIDGE WHEN YOU'RE THAWING OUT MEAT TO THEN COOK SAME DAY
