ive heard olive garden is pretty good but sadly ive never gone. my moirail tells me the practice of having catXdants is an Xample of how pervasive caste determinism is in society. that the act of having a feline species of lusus grants you more opportunities for upward movement than other olivebloods in the same caste is an Xample of how the empire pits members of the same caste against each other, which effectively prevents solidarity within a caste as much as between castes. you see the same tactiX in the way violetbloods are forced to persecute each other in games of social ostracization such that no troll can really trust anyone and we all basically hate each other XXD i dont really understand it all but it sure does sound profound!
