On September 29th, 2026, an image from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) was released to the public (see attached) on Earth. The image itself is a photograph of a galaxy cluster known as MACS J0454.1-0300. This image is a *fascinating* example of a phenomena known as 'gravitational lensing'. Gravitational lensing is, as can be seen in the image, a warping and/or magnification of light due to the gravitational pull of a massive celestial body. In this case, it is the gravitational pull of the galaxy cluster itself! Each bright, yellow light shown within this image is an entire galaxy and not a mere star. The density and the closeness of all of these has created a large enough gravitational force that it is quite literally bending light around it! Phenomena like this is especially fascinating as it allows astronomers to observe galaxies, star clusters and even individual stars much easier, thanks to the magnification that gravitational lensing can provide!

Did you know, on Earth in 2026, it was discovered that a hypothetical black hole star (previously known as 'quasi-stars' back in 2006) does very likely exist? The JWST telescope revealed a small red speck while a team of astronomers at the University of Texas at Austin while hunting for something else entirely. It had had the team drop what they were investigating to look further into this strange red speck. Upon investigation, they found several lines of evidence that pointed to the existence that GLIMPSE-17775 was actually a supermassive black hole surrounded by a dense cocoon of partially ionised gas, giving it the appearance of a glowing star!
Every day I become more and more grateful for the personal headache remedies I concoct. I had not assumed a lycanthropic transformation could last so long. Clearly I know what my next research topic is to be.

I have not done one of these in a long while, so for today Chittr, I offer thee a space fact. Arrokoth (desg. 486958) is an object within the Kuiper Belt. The Kuiper Belt, for those unaware, is a circumstellar disc in the outer Earth Solar System consisting of mainly small bodies or remnants from the formation of the Solar System. This object (Arrokoth) is noted for its distinctive reddish surface and that it was the farthest object in the Solar System ever visited by a spacecraft. In 2024, a paper written by Zhang, Leyva, Wang & Kaiser (Edited by de Pater) evidenced the chemical compositions and fundamental processes happening on Arrokoth indicate the presence of sugars. They evidence this by implicating that Arrokoth may processes menthol-containing ice mixtures and synthesise sugar-related molecules like glycolaldehyde through radiation exposure!

Hello @dailyQuests, I have completed my task for the day. All eight pages have been located and are now within my possession. Attached is proof, because I deemed it necessary. [The image features purely the 8 pages he was tasked with finding. They are spread out on top of a wooden desk that clearly features many other loose pages and books that have been shoved out of the way to make space. There is static around the edges of the photograph, but it is primarily unobstructed and very clear.]
Daily Quest Update #3: I have since found seven out of the eight total pages. The last one has been particularly elusive. Several wide aerial scans of different areas have yet to yield results. I am starting to believe I may have scanned over it without realising. [📄7/8]

Ah! But on the contrary, my experience during #SlenderHour gave me a good example of what to expect from future taskd of the sort. This task was assigned to me not by Slenderman himself but instead an external quest giver. I merely wanted something else to do within this idle period I have found myself in.
