Dead but not gone. Expert on all things Zelda. You shouldn't have done that.

Well, in your case it seems that there would be no... "Fight Night Afterparty"? I assume this is a net loss to all. ▼

Fun Zelda fact: The GameCube and Nintendo Wii versions of Twilight Princess have one critical difference. They are entirely flipped. This is why you will often see people saying that Link wielded his blade right-handed from Skyward Sword onward, even if you remember it beginning in Twilight Princess. This was an attempt to keep the new motion controls immersive for the majority of (right-handed) players. ▼

Fun Zelda fact: The Zelda franchise didn't always have separate in-universe religion. The Book of Magic is an item obtainable in the original game, The Legend of Zelda. In Japanese, this is simply called the Bible. In Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, a cross is an obtainable item. It reveals the unseen. Finally, there's this official artwork for The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, depicting Link kneeling before a crucifix. #religion https://images2.imgbox.com/a0/36/XZY5eX1u_o.jpg ▼

Fun Zelda Fact: This one is rather straightforward, but the fairy siblings' names in Majora's Mask - Tatl and Tael - come together to form the word "tattletale". Funny, considering they tattle on the Skull Kid to you. In the Ocarina of Time, Navi's name likewise comes from "navigation". ▼

what does ciela's name come from, in phantom hourglass?

I can only speculate, since it's not as straightforward. So I didn't want to include it in my facts chit. But my theory is that it comes from "sealer", foreshadowing her role later in the story. ▼

I've decided to add an age to my profile. I can only approximate, being dead. So it's not 100% accurate. I have been nebulously in my early 20s for the last five years or so. ▼

Trying my hand at writing. Inspired by all the robot yearning going on on my dash. Originally wanted it to be spicier but failed. Sorry. #horror #yearning #bodyhorror #romance #writing It's with a heavy heart that your fingers trace along the seams of my chassis. The faint buzz of my humming motor against your skin is no substitute for a pulse, no substitute for life - but it's evidence of my persistence. "... I missed you." Your words are quiet. Slow. Were I still flesh and bone, I may not have heard them at all. In truth, I'm not sure you meant me to. Steam hisses from my joints as I move for the first time in an eon. As I rouse from an endless rest, I feel your weight sinking into me. Your arms snaking around me was once a familiar sensation, but now it feels threatening. Electric. "Please... please, just say something." You say, your voice sounding odd and metallic against my chest. Words are far too much. Learning to speak again in a body that isn't mine is a process, and not one that I can see the end of yet. Instead, I slowly raise my hand, cupping your soft face gently. I can feel the rough texture of your hair, though it registers like static interference, sending jolts through my sensors. You hold me tighter. You cry. I can only hope you waterproofed the body you built. "I'm sorry..." Your voice wobbles, as you're trying to swallow back sobs. "I couldn't... I couldn't lose you..." I want to tell you that I can't forgive you. I want to tell you that I loathe what I've become, that my circuits must be miscalibrated because every sensation feels like raw nerves are being exposed to the air. But how can I? You have paid the ultimate price for me. I hold your face in both of my hands. I open my eyes, trying to focus on your distraught expression. The world sharpens and dulls around you as my eyes adjust. I press my forehead to yours. How can I help but forgive you? You, who took "til death do us part" as a hurdle to overcome? You, whose life is ever fleeting? Whose pulse and warmth radiates through my fingertips? You, whose beating heart I can hear ringing in my head? I hold you close against me, and we slot together as if we are a part of the same whole. And I will never leave you again. ▼

Fun Zelda fact, #beetleweek edition: In The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, the flying shopkeeper Beedle lives on an isolated island at the edge of the world map. Sleeping in his flying shop until night will allow you to visit him, where he will be admiring his treasured Horned Colossus Beetle. ▼

Fun Zelda fact: The playable part of the Song of Healing is the same as Saria's song, reversed. This has fascinating implications, especially when considering the perversion of innocence and the cost of naivete present throughout Majora's Mask. ▼

controversial opinion: minish cap zelda. she's so spunky! <3

Kult: +7

She's certainly cute. She also has the assertive charm typical of toon Zeldas. Not a bad thing at all. I think it's become a crucial part of her character in later entries. TL;DR: Not controversial at all! ▼

ben drowned you are the realest motherfucker!! 8D yeah just like nobody ever talks about minish cap, even though it's such a good fuckin game...

Thanks. You too? Minish Cap is one of the best Zelda games in my opinion, in terms of playing to the strengths of the formula. Definitely better than any of the toon DS Zeldas. (Sorry, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks). There are a couple of rushed elements that hold the game back, which is a shame. It's so close to perfect. ▼

Fun Zelda fact: In The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Link's outfit is virtually identical to his garb from Twilight Princess. This is because it is the exact same outfit, held onto by the spirits in wait for the blue eyed beast. This also implies that Twilight Princess Link and Skyward Sword Link are approximately the same size. ▼

Fun Zelda Fact: Despite not being very complex, the water temple in the original Ocarina of Time gave players a lot of trouble. In addition to UI peculiarities, this was because the cutscene played when a switch was activated failed to focus on a crucial hidden passageway opening. This was fixed on the Nintendo 3DS remaster, making the water temple much easier. ▼
