@eveningWitness[EW]

• every day i turn more and more into a stereotypical noir detective • embarrassing for me • i'm not even a detective, i'm just inadvertently cosplaying because of the way i am • i'm a journalist 🤦

@lowFrequency[LF]

[FEEDBACK] The stereotypical noir detective character is totally in right now, though. Lean a little into it.

@eveningWitness[EW]

• i guess i have seen a couple stereotypical noir detectives around • still, the noir-chic just makes me feel a little ridiculous • like "oh yeah of course you would drink your coffee black, ed" • "of course you're making a conspiracy board in the dark of your office" • "yeah you WOULD sit by the window with a cigarette and some smooth lounge jazz playing on your vintage radio, ed" • it just gets a little cartoonish, doesn't it?

↩ @eveningWitness[EW]

@lowFrequency[LF]

[FEEDBACK] Damn, thankfully even although I, myself, do any of that, no one would suspect me as a detective as they would you. Maybe you need to throw them off a bit.

↩ @lowFrequency[LF]

@eveningWitness[EW]

• i need a hobby that's very uncharacteristic of a noir detective • maybe i should get into plush collecting • or tightrope walking

@eveningWitness[EW]

• eggs on toast • side of sausage and home fries • black coffee • slice of cherry pie • life is good
