I think a lot of us from our era posture themselves too highly. I spent a life as a merchant, as a warrior, and as a host. The majority of my time has been spent running a burlesque club, until we had been phased out. I remained at my manor, and quietly observed, intervening here and there. But at the end of the day, I was a normal troll. This title was given to me as I was forgotten by time. This is intentional. #suggestive
The immortality gives perspective, most go out in a blaze of glory, but I simply observe.
I would've been dead long ago had I not reached the final path of enlightenment. I still age, but it's considerably slowed. I've aged maybe my equivalent of 20 sweeps since I had achieved my goal.
Once upon a time a stranger had approached me with promises of power when I found myself at a low point in my life, when I was aimless. I followed his words, his mantra, his advice, and I became powerful. At the end of my teachings, he approached me. Offered me functional immortality with the promise that I would not enact monumental change as I had planned in my time. I agreed. I took up a more peaceful path in life, a less radical one.

He obscured his identity. A troll, I knew that much, obscured his identity and caste. As soon as he whispered the truth to me, he was gone. Of course, I cannot share this secret myself, part of the rule was to keep it close to my chest. Ironically, a human set Ganset on her path but it got her about to where I was at my peak all the same. She is strong enough to bear the burden, but she has much to learn yet.

I am trying. The first step is to relax. She can meditate just fine, but that's not really, relaxing? I put her in charge of the manor and by extension, the club, in hopes that it'll give her time to settle down.

Well, dearies, with some assistance I was able to get one of my old photos digitally restored, not much has changed at all since then, even a few hundred sweeps later.

It is nice to see other caretakers on here. I wish I could've raised Ganset myself, but it was warned to me that giving her to a lusus would have lead to a healthier upbringing. Sixteen sweeps later, I am proud to see that this turned out to be true. Even if things are icy now I hope that she isn't too angry with me.
Now I really can't see why she would be keeping me from this site. What lovely people.
She stormed off earlier. I know she'll be back. She just needs to calm down. I'm several hundred sweeps old, I know very well how to behave myself.
