Ĩt only makes sense, right? Ĩ'm sure others would agree. ≈ ≈ Our plan was similar to that of the "Earth C" people, from what Ĩ had gathered. Establish a gene pool, skip forward, let everything unfold as it should. ≈ ≈ With the caveat of, you know. My rightful place at the top being established early on. ≈ ≈ CERTAĨN individuals, who will not be named, but are integral to the entire plan working, took issue with this. Some nonsense about how we don't have to go back to the old ways, Alternian culture can be swept away with time, et cetera et al. ≈ ≈ And without the ability to utilize his powers, we're kind of stuck here until we come to an agreement. Ĩ'm not budging, and neither are they. And while Ĩ do have some supporters among both the trolls and humans, it isn't enough to force the issue. Not that Ĩ would want to kill my dear compatriots, mind. ≈ ≈ That's the short of it, at least. "Who asked", Ĩ'm sure some would wonder, but Ĩ *did* make a promise to explain my timeline in some level of detail previously. And here it is! Enjoy. ≈

≈ Ĩnfinity is an interesting concept. Somewhere out there, a version of you is committing acts you might find absolutely abhorrent from either a personal, moral or aesthetic standpoint. A "you" might be committing awful acts of #violence, tearing your matesprit limb from limb in that timeline, or making an absolute ass of themselves in some kind of #substance fueled stupor. ≈ ≈ Ĩ don't have much to say about my alternates. The various bouquet of Roses are... acceptable enough, in my eyes. Either preoccupied by their own dealings, sequestered away in some misery of their own making, or simply just "yucking it up", as they say. ≈ ≈ Ĩ am a little annoyed by the prospects being as such that the one vaguely similar alternate of anyone Ĩ *know* to have cropped up on this site has been a bumbling douchebag without a shred of the wit Ĩ associated with the (non-literal) clown. ≈ Generally, Ĩ would chalk it up to a "name", but even then Ĩ find myself quite the aberrant in that regard. Truly, what makes you "You" is such a nebulous concept as to evade specificity. That said, there is a certain vibe to be beheld once you've stumbled upon a mirrored version of yourself, no? Even if their name is different, features and fashion jumbled up, we can usually tell when we're encountering ourselves, even if the reflection has been distorted by any number of factors. ≈ ≈ Perhaps it's just the soul of it all. But, Ĩ'd be infringing on the aspect of another treading into that territory. ≈

Ĩ see mine fairly frequently, so Ĩ haven't had the opportunity to exercise that particular instinct. ≈

You'd think media preservation would be higher on the list of priorities for those who had no idea they'd be going through an apocalypse, but such is life. ≈ ≈ Ĩt's less "waiting for the argument to settle" and more waiting for the opposition to realize they're wrong, but Ĩ can see where one might get confused on the matter. ≈

≈ Ĩ've noticed a few trends- the usual dash phenomena notwithstanding, considering those tend to last around an hour at the absolute most- in my time watching the feed on this site. Particularly pertaining to the idea of "character arcs", for lack of a more apt descriptor. ≈ ≈ Seemingly, any animal that somehow manages to break onto the platform will start out with what you'd expect. Confusion towards their presence, generally being "happy" or "cute" if hardly comprehensible, most of their interactions being lavishing the individual in praise. But when individuals begin to go against that grain- usually by calling them stupid or threatening to cook them into some manner of burger- said animal will be blessed with the gift of speech and usually become very agitated and violent. A lot of the time, those animals seem to get bored and wander off after this episode, not to be seen again. Perhaps their intelligence only manifested in a moment of anger, and was subsequently robbed from them in their moment of calm? ≈ ≈ Secondly, it seems those which sign up to this site primarily for the sake of being unconditionally, belligerently, unrepentant concupiscent on the feed, in front of Glb'golyb and everyone, tend to undergo some moment of hubris that sends them into a spiral that either compels or forces them to grow as a person, troll, what have you. This one is particularly funny to me, as an off-the-record aside. One so wholly dedicated to waving their bulge around sitting down for a moment, thinking hard about life, and deciding they need to take it in a different direction after a world-shattering revelation? Delicious. ≈ ≈ "That's a strange tangent you went on, there, Rhosyn", or "yeah, and?" you might be thinking. And Ĩ'm sure, were Ĩ to stumble upon a post of this caliber and subject matter, Ĩ would be compelled to feel the same.
