I'm glad you asked! Card games were quite popular on 8eforus. I wouldn't say that we were anywhere near as tense and exciting as any round of Alternian Hold 'Em, 8ut the game that immediately comes to my mind would pro8a8ly Tarot War, a psychologically demanding card game wherein the opponents would have to draw random cards from a 8eforan tarot deck and then extrapolate points 8ased on *mutual* agreement of what the card would sym8olically represent. It's more of a de88te game than a traditional card game, 8ut on 8eforus, words were far more powerful than the 8lade.
This was actually very fascinating, thanks Aranea I'll have to see if I could find myself a Beforus deck
Do let me know if you happen to find a set. I've 8een scouring the dream 8u88les for quite a long time and haven't ever found the whole deck.
