ADDENDUM! well, the Saint of Metallurgical Alloy series was particularly good, as was Swordpusher taking place in the same universe. they're all distinct enough, but if you read them all together the formula is a little obvious; Troll Hemlock & Silver was also good in pretty much the same ways despite taking place in a different universe
