What makes for the platonic ideal of a Rose? Is whichever Rose exists in the Alpha Timeline the Rosiest Rose? Pre- or post-retcon? Is there a Rose in some obscure off-shoot who is even Rosier? Should the rest of us lesser Roses strive to become more like our most ideal self? Is the platonic the ideal? The platonic ideal of a skunk is probably still quite fragrant. Is the platonic Rose the one whom guides the most blades? I can hardly stomach the thought of such a subservient Rose being considered the ideal, but how much does the ideal matter? There is one point I will cede and this point may just illuminate everything else: the platonic ideal of a Rose is probably a flower.
