I feel we should interrogate exactly Why we have our AI assistants always as women. I understand the allure of having a "His girl Friday" type thing, but we should be mixing it up more. Neutral voices, masculine ones, there's all sorts of variety we could have, but we instead have gentle-voiced women as our digital servants.
