I went out to buy clothes with Roxy today so I suppose I am introspective on it is all. We went bra shopping and waiting for her to get fitted while the helpful worker just pulled something off the rack for me with barely a glance was a form of psychological torture they must practice.
Despite being strictly feminine my entire life, I still somewhat held an internalized misogyny that still rears it’s head whenever I go to purchase a style of clothing I know I would have mocked when I was younger. I still get an internal feeling like it is meant to be worn by some imaginary popular girl that surely had less value because of her pink and showy clothing, or her focus on socializing. I would like to kill that part of myself. I’m still working on it though.
