lots of ai chatter today on the tl! which means id like to talk about another favorite trope of mine: MACHINE X MEAT! (tags: wirepulling, wireplay, teach me to love, fix it fic, upgrades, physical enhancements, robophilia, #nsfw, angst,) i think a living being falling in love with a sentient piece of technology is so kawaii! especially when the robotic partner is gap moe in the way they handle learning to love their partner. hurt/comfort scenes (tags: hurt/comfort) are especially good with robot/nonrobot pairings due to all the fun details that come with repairplay (tags: repairplay) and trusting their nonrobot partner with such delicate pieces of their insides! AUTHORS NOTE this trope/dynamic is a very fun one to explore. fic reccomendations appreciated gomen! whats something you especiallly enjoy about these tension-filled pairing trope?

This unit has fully replaced their arms and legs, acquired a thinkpan an augmentati⚙n that all⚙ws f⚙r easy c⚙mpartmentalizati⚙n ⚙f em⚙ti⚙ns, and a new thr⚙at and neck structure. I have als⚙ replaced ⚙ne eye, acquired a cybernetic spine augmentati⚙n, and affixed t⚙ that spine are tw⚙ mechadendrites As f⚙r h⚙w t⚙ feels t⚙ w⚙rk ⚙n them? Well, I d⚙ n⚙t really “feel” it. I can tell that there is s⚙mething there, r⚙⚙ting ar⚙und instead my leg. But it d⚙esn’t hurt ⚙r tickle ⚙r anything.
