Having recently found himself on Alternia with almost no memories of a life lived full to bursting, all a guy can do is roll with the punches, get a job where he can, and work out the tangled mess of his current situation from wherever he finds himself in the moment. Clinton "Dolce" De Campo is 47 human years old, might have been Sicilian, and navigates Midnight City like a guy who's likely spent more than his fair share of time in New York. He's the proud owner of a phone that despite now being Smart does still post randomly without his say-so (perhaps a little Too Smart, in that regard); it doesn't seem to need to charge. His memories of his life before come and go like the tide. He had a son. He lost his son. He was a renowned capo, and hasn't entirely lost his spark, though he has nothing to enforce. In fact, he has quite a great deal of spark-- some of it comes across in odd, sinister ways of a magic persuasion. Perhaps most importantly, he can't remember why he's a shadow mage at all. He doesn't trust Lord English. His roommate left him for the Felt, so he's placed some investments in a house boat and is laying low for the moment.
