hello all. phuntr guynax from the #phunt party for the #teamchud elections. this is an open letter to @barackObama regarding the previously held elections. while i appreciate the fact that he stepped in as a well-known authority in elections to give the whole thing a little more weight, he has claimed to do so as a 3rd party, and i cannot in good conscience accept this. 1. the candidates: for one, the poll allowed users to vote for three candidates, @naughtyTechnician @tentativelyTenbrous and myself. of course, we are the three main candidates, yet there was an "i just want to vote option", and an "other" option. the first, obviously draws the eye of any voter as being "funny", while the latter is laden with joke answers or people that either voted SOLELY for themselves. this means that a huge 50% of the votes were 'joke votes' which could have easily been alotted to any other candidate. this is hugely prominent given the voting pool of "17 people", some of which candidates, which leads me on to point 2. 2. the voting timeframe: constituents of chittr were only alotted a timeframe of, what, 5 hours before they were over? this is an issue for two reasons. for one, clearly not many #phuntheads were online as i only got TWO votes. one of which were me. i can guarantee plenty of people that would vote for me. this can be for a number of reasons, for one, many #phuntheads tend to get on and off the site hours before now, meaning the possibility of them voting for me? gone. for two, phuntr'S angels were in the field. many of which did not have the possibility of voting. that'S nine people. that could have voted for phuntr, especially after my ability in leading the mission. 3. the voting pool: as stated above, the likelihood of many #phunt voters being either in cupe, or just not online at the time of voting would have reduced my potential votes. this could be similarly true with the other candidates, however. one vote? ONE VOTE? below will be a list of people who were likely to vote for phuntr. please, if you find yourself in this list, explain to me WHY YOU DID NOT VOTE ME??? @eclecticEngineer @chillerAficionado @isolatedWreckage @criticalConspiracist <- TO THE ABOVE TWO I FUCKING ADDED YOU TO THE TEAM TODAY?? Some of this is going to sound so mean, but remember Phunt ILY and I am the biggest phunt truther. 1) I am way too employed to even know this was even happening. 2) When have I ever showed any interest in the goings on of Team Chud outside of being friends with you and Kryqus? Lmao 3) The weekend I had was shit, I was walking around static brained for two nights in a row about it. 4) Cosmic horror happened. Lol. 5) I have been doing a ton of sleeping lately, tbh, so the truth is I just straight up missed the all of it. But we all know 1a) My vote is as good as yours in all things. 2a) You and Kryqus are literally, in my experience, the only two involved capable of having a real ass normal ass conversation.
