oh then a big timeline difference. kanaya has been working on trying to get the mother grub to hatch but it’s not worked in the 400 years we’ve been out here on earth c. and apparently it is a thing that our trolls can do but didn’t know they could because the grub mother kind of made that an unnecessary thing. karkat got knocked up by a gamzee during a heat cycle so now there’s an egg. a very banana colored egg at that.
