Lately I have come to the conclusions that humans are quite cute. Something quite unsettling occurred at the market last week, and everyone seemed to agree the best way to deal with this was to hold hands until the scary thing was gone. I should attempt to do this with Velvet next time I am unsettled, I think. It seems to be quite reassuring.
I think the worst part of filleting fish certainly has to be pulling out the organs. You give too much pressure and suddenly your fish has exploded and you are left with a handful or torn intestinal tract. Lovely.
