traffic has been so fucking bad lately. it'd get on my nerves if i ever got mad at minuscule problems, but i don't.

do i wake jinx up early to see the sun rise before we leave... its supposed to be pretty magical!
sure its less convenient to spend a week hiking and driving and stuff but!!! it really really really does make you appreciate it more. i see a lot of planets and moons and stuff doing spacey things but... it doesnt feel real in the same way? you lose a lot of sense of scale if you arent spending time in little niche crevices and walking around and thinking "wow thatll take me all day just to see!" sometimes your own two feet really are the best yardstick. :D
i ended up napping more........
the cozy puppy is a little sore and kind of wants to stay in bed...
nothing bad! just a busy day yesterday and hopefully more hiking today! driving places like a mundane person takes soooo loooong...
