((Mindfang is not a very verbose troll when talking to people, she is only such in her journal which hosts her private thoughts. She's from Alternia as a criminal, so going at length speaking to potentially spies or people who do not have her best interests in mind is always on the back of her mind when divulging information at length. That, and when giving orders on ships, especially during storms or war her directions had to be loud, quick and clear. So she speaks more bluntly in conversations than Aranea or even Vriska will. ))
