It does make me wonder what draws creatures from not just other timelines, a concept I have had properly hand-fisted down my gullet in wipes past, but from other 'realities'. The separation of which is in the fact that all contained timelines appear to have only set species and rules in them while other realities have entirely separate species and rules. For example, I currently reside on Alternia, roughly 40XX sweeps after the uprising of Her Imperious Condescension, several millenia further after the once-believed-mythic attempted coups of the Signless and Summoner, and some hundred or so sweeps before the era of the hatching of the trolls who are destined to bring Alternia to its ultimate destruction. That is my point of origin. Other timelines share it with subtle differences, other timelines are humans on Earth, but we are all contained under a single multifaceted reality wherein we are the species predomiment and the rules governed. When another reality converges, say 'Toriel Dreemurr' from a reality wherein every contained timeline is filled with variations of a human-monster-darkener facet instead, I can only wonder why. Why is this website capable of breaching a point not even the great 'Game' can breach?

In developing my interspecies compendium I have made certain observations about humans. Notably in the romantic department. Humans, by default, seem to only experience what we trolls would know as the 'red' quadrants, those which lead one to matespritship and moiraillegance, though the latter seems to be to a lesser, less directly labeled extent. The 'black' quadrants are something inherently¹ foreign to them that have only recently (comparitively, since time is, as I have been told many times, a flat circle - side note, I do not understand that saying. Every circle is flat. If it was not flat it would be a sphere or something between the two.) They are capable of one concupiscent relationship and one conciliatory relationship², whereas the concepts of kismesitude and auspiticism are foreign to them. This led me to wonder if humans did not engage in these relationships purely because they were not capable of them at all, or if they simply did not know they could. On this site I see many humans with kismeses and some with an auspitice to mediate between themselves and their pitch parallels, and I have spoken to a number of them about their experiences with navigating this form of romance which is new to their species but so common to trolls - especially in cross-species relationships. This particular section is a work in progress. I only have 79 pages of it written so far, and I plan on interviewing many more trolls and humans alike to see what else I can figure out. ¹ As in it seems they are not introduced to the concepts from birth. ² For any humans unaware, concupiscent refers to 'romantic' quadrants: pitch and red. Conciliatory refers to 'platonic' quadrants: ashen and pale.
