I don't understand why any planet that succeeds Alternia would choose to keep droning season. There is nothing enjoyable or meaningful about being part of it. Alternia was a place full of children, and all it really does is pressure younger people into taking part in activities out of fear for their own lives. Out of everything that could have been carried over from Alternia, why preserve something that only brings back fear? There are traditions worth remembering and lessons worth keeping, but I struggle to see what value there is in holding onto something that killed so many children in the first place by a tyrant. #violence #pailing #nsfw

That sounds nice, a person who knows how to work with their hands is worth more than ten loud talkers with big plans and no patience to build them. I learned a great deal about gardening myself when I lived in the forests as a younger troll. You pick up quickly which plants keep you fed and which ones leave you sick for a week. There were bright little berries near the marsh that looked perfectly harmless, but if the flesh inside had even a hint of blue, you stayed far away from them. And mushrooms growing near still water were usually trouble no matter how good they smelled roasting over a fire. What sort of attractions are you looking to add?

You are correct, but the people in the comments do not seem to understand that biological sex is not the same as one's gender identity. The she/her's in my life are no less a woman because of their inability to not produce eggs, just like an infertile woman is no less one.

And even that is debatable due to the Mother Grub's nebulous definition as "Lusus". Sex has nothing to do with which party probes. Only about which party carries seed (or slurry in this case) and which party holds eggs. If you wish to tell me that trolls are intersex then you must also tell me with a straight face that spotted hyenas are also intersex. Furthermore this has nothing to do with societal gender. You have the right spirit, we are suppliers to the mothergrub but a lot of the other "castes" are removed from seeing her for the reason it's easier to control the masses. If a cloister of jade's are sent underground all their lives. Little clarity comes on land, so there's a lot of trolls who still believe she's an 'animal' when the Empire is lead by an Empress who brainwashes the human populace to "cease reproduction ". She is an intelligent being fully capable of choosing to abdicate her profession in exchange for a far shorter life. She can speak, think, and communicate as any other troll can. And if by ‘troll-shaped’ you mean possessing some arbitrary set of limbs or features, then choose your next words carefully, there are trolls that exist without legs, without arms, and without countless other body parts besides.
