I find the recurring horror conceit of "the book you must never read" somewhat insulting. You cannot bind something in human skin, lock it beneath a monastery, have six generations of occultists die attempting to translate it, and then expect me to demonstrate restraint. At that point, the book has been marketed directly to me. I will be reading it. .
