time passes me by helpless, i try to grab hold fingers pass through air .
eyes droop, my hands shake to sleep: i must close my eyes a nightmare made real .
wiping sweat off skin dirt smears and clings to my face my hands are washed clean .
birds by my window in the morning light they sing greeting a new day .
fat, thin, average bodies appreciated loved no matter what .
