Your favorite way of looking forward.

I too am Rose.

A rare good day today. I ought to sleep before that can change.

Hello, all. How is everyone today?

Speaking of experimental.

The silhouettes are the style I chose to learn for a few reasons. Namely, they represent certain complications when it comes to how I perceive both myself and the world around me lately. My mind goes, my memory starts to go with it. I forget the details of faces I have not seen in mere weeks. My sense of self dwindles by the day. I don't remember the last time I looked in a mirror, because I see no reason to. ...That, and I really do try drawing with details sometimes. I just suck at it.

There are certain things I need to work on with my art. The silhouettes are fairly limiting, however, I know that is entirely me. I need to start incorporating more shades. To at least define direction a little more. I could also stand to work on full bodies more, maybe even little scenes. There are plenty of things I glimpse in my worst headaches that I would love to share like that.

Hehe.

I realize those look like they need a #suggestive tag. They do not. My yearning is purely romantic.

These two are very self-indulgent. (Featuring @arachneanGambit though she no longer uses this site.)

Good morning.

I almost have 20k kult. I appreciate all the support and investment in what is essentially a countdown of an account. I would say I'll do something to celebrate the milestone, but given my situation, there really isn't much I could do.

Not to discredit the issues other versions of her and myself have. Those are still very real. I just don't want anyone pitying my chits when I allude to Kanaya being my ex-wife. It isn't a bad thing.

She and I are on great terms, mind you. So often I see versions of myself lamenting their own failed relationships, and while I empathize, the issue with my marriage was never the fact that Kanaya and I did not get along. We always got along. The issue was that she is one of the first ~20 women I ever met, and the only one who clicked with me in that special way through those formative years of my life. We were, in our own way, all each other had. And that means very little when your planets are gone. But sometimes you realize that someone you thought you loved as a partner is just a friend you confused your feelings for because you had no other choice. I am not saying this is the case for every Rose and Kanaya out there — I know so many of them have a genuine and honest love. But that is not what ours was, and as far as the two of us are concerned, that is completely fine.

My day was good today, for once. I felt well enough to visit Kanaya and catch up.

Anyway. That aside. How is everyone tonight?

I would love it if I didn't keep finding forks in these kitchens.

Good lord. Television is dreadfully boring these days.

I think I will go for an easy walk today.

I miss energy drinks. When we first settled into Earth C I indulged in the best and most impressive of technological advancements the planet had to offer (that being an energy drink called Unreal) but as I started to feel worse, I had to give them up. Now I fear they would be like peanut butter to a kid with a nut allergy for me. So sweet, so tempting, so deadly.

Having someone go back through liking old sketchbook posts is very nerve-wracking. What if I get a bad grade in my-ghost-relative-reviewing-my-old-art?
