A man approachs seeing me damaged takes me to his home, his grandfather clock ticks down slow. My time is short, I have not much left I sit by the window taking in what's left. He of course has a plan such a perfectly beautiful rose, why let It go to waste? Careful like a surgeon he carefully prods the damaged petals away leaving a rose that knows not decay. Setting me down within a glass, ready to preserve no matter how much time may pass. Resin filling slowly as my thoughts are down out, now only refracting the image of once was.
