The closest any got was by a helmed goldblood who managed to break free after a careless violet maintainer left his bindings too loose. He, a small cog in the great machine that was Her Imperious Condescensions personal warship, managed to free seventeen other helmed trolls, who then attempted to surprise her, only to be swiftly thwarted by a single violet guard before they could even reach her quarters.
ENTRY 08 There was a brief two sweep period in Alternian history where there were no drones at all. Her Imperious Condescension was, according to the text, fresh into her reign and trying to see what she could do to establish her rule more directly. In her eyes the drones were too impersonal, often leading trolls to not see her as someone to fear, but as a coward who hid behind her biomachines.
