It's funny, being assigned a mytho+lo+gical title by a co+smic video+ game o+f unkno+wn o+rigin. I wo+n't pretend I was always the best team player. I spent so+ much o+f the three sweeps that my friends and I spent in that game rejecting this assignment, bo+th as a Maid and Of Space. I didn't want to+ be a servant. I didn't want to+ be a mo+ther. What a sick jo+ke, I always tho+ught, that this thing tried to+ tell me that my ultimate destiny was to+ be the universe's dutiful mo+mmy. I'd have spit in the face o+f who+ever created this damn game if I co+uld. I still might. Pto+o+ey. But in a ro+undabo+ut way, it gave me a deeper appreciatio+n o+f maids.
