I've seen some Alternian accounts on here talk about the moratorium on keeping records regarding historical occurrences. My assumption is that this has to do with the failed revolutions of the Signless and later the Summoner, but I'm curious if any other revolutionaries had their own records that were destroyed or kept in secret. I'm also curious as to how different other Alternian Jades have dealt with the the duties of keeping track of particular bloodlines when such a restrictive system is in place. Lowbloods very rarely have reason, or desire, to track down the feats of their forebears, but almost any member of the bluegeoisie is nigh-obsessed with their destined place in their bloodline's legacy.
