ALRIGHT, #ABCC. #GETIN. https://hyperbeam.com/v/abcc
Good evening, #abcc nation. It's my #watchparty shift once again, and it is a really good one for #meatweek Tonight's film for #Abcc-EST is Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, directed by Tim Burton and released in 2007. It is a musical about a barber who returns to Victorian London after suffering a grave injustice, intent on settling accounts with the people responsible. He reunites with Mrs. Lovett, a baker whose meat pies have been experiencing something of a commercial downturn, and together they embark on a business venture that is, from an ethical standpoint, somewhat difficult...Read more
ATTENTION, WORTHLESS CINEPHILES, CINEASTES, CINEMANIACS, AND ANY OTHER VACUOUS SHITWIGGLER EVER TO SQUEAK TOGETHER THE SPONGECELLS TO HIT "FOLLOW" ON THE #ABCC AND #WATCHPARTY TAGS. THIS IS YOUR *ORIGINAL* #ABCC-FILMLEADER SPEAKING. GOOD GALVANIC GRUBSHIT, AM I EXCITED TO WATCH THIS ONE AGAIN. THE CULMINATING FINAL FEATURE OF #MEATWEEK. A FILM WHOSE MEAT IS NOT ONLY IN ITS RIVETING PRACTICAL EFFECTS OR ITS EXPLORATION OF VISCERA AS THE MEDIUM OF THE DIVINE, PROFANED BY MAN — BUT IN THE SHEER VOLUME OF ITS SATISFYING, JUICY NARRATIVE SUBSTANCE, HATCHED FIRST BY A VISIONARY IN THE PRIME OF HER YOUTH A...Read more

Hee hee. :o) I remain, The Great and Terrible Kurloz.
Good evening, children of the night. How beautiful your song is. #DracWeek continues, and my assigned film for the EST #watchparty edition of #abcc is Bram Stoker's Dracula, directed by Francis Ford Coppola and released in 1992. Adapted from Bram Stoker's famous novel, the film presents the familiar story of Count Dracula, an ancient Transylvanian nobleman whose encounter with Jonathan Harker draws him toward Victorian London—and toward a woman who bears an unsettling resemblance to someone from his past. This is Dracula as gothic fever dream rather than restrained literary adaptation. It is lavi...Read more

Friends, Chitterers, Acquaintances. It is my pleasure to announce that tonight's #ABCC-EST #watchparty has fallen squarely upon my shoulders. And thus, like Atlas hoisting up the world, I shall take this duty with the utmost respect. It is the second film in our #abcc #gnomeweek event, and as such, the film to be projected is Gnomeo and Juliet. I've only seen this movie once, and very recently, so I'll spare you any wordy, overly complicated post with a blurb supposed to entice you. Instead, I will let you know that I thoroughly enjoyed it. It served its purpose quite well, conjoining the most overh...Read more
