Good evening, #abcc nation. It's my #watchparty shift once again, and it is a really good one for #meatweek Tonight's film for #Abcc-EST is Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, directed by Tim Burton and released in 2007. It is a musical about a barber who returns to Victorian London after suffering a grave injustice, intent on settling accounts with the people responsible. He reunites with Mrs. Lovett, a baker whose meat pies have been experiencing something of a commercial downturn, and together they embark on a business venture that is, from an ethical standpoint, somewhat difficult...Read more

Good evening, attendees of this week's EST edition of #ABCC #abcc-watchparty Tonight's film is Troy, directed by Wolfgang Petersen and released in 2004. It is, in theory, a film about the Trojan War. More specifically, it is a film about what happens when you combine kings, warriors, gods—or at least the considerable absence thereof—romance, pride, political ambition, and several men with an almost pathological commitment to proving themselves. The story is built from considerably older material, of course, but this particular interpretation is less interested in divine intervention and more inte...Read more

Attention, esteemed guests of the Adorabloodthirsty Cinemassacre Club. This Friday's #watchparty theme is one that you would not believe came from the mind of our very own Supreme Leader @carbolicGalvanologist after the smashing success that was #GnomeWeek. #ABCC are proud to present: #HistoricalRomanceFriday. This start of the weekend comes packed to the brim with the type of romance you don't see any more in this day and age- I am talking, of course, of being capable of murder (and other crimes) for your loved one. The three movies that we will be watching, in order of appearance will be: GMT -...Read more
