I MEAN I’VE ONLY MET A COUPLE OF DAUGHTERS AND ONE OR TWO SONS HERE SO FAR, BUT THE FACT I AIN’T EVER EXPECTED TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE MEANT A LOT OF THE SHOCK AND NOVELTY CAME WITH THE FIRST ONE.

i say this with the Utmost kindness and in good faith, bUt this is a very sUrface level reading of the varioUs dynamics at play, and not to mention that it fails to address all of them! not that i blame yoU for any of that of coUrse. starting from the topmost left and moving clockwise. i find it hard to argUe for any particUlar qUadrant between jane and oUr aqUatic prince! yoU mUst remember that a proper kismessitUde is more than jUst occasionally having a go at each other and some flavor of physical attraction. that's enoUgh to eventUally grow a pitch pining to the point of warranting a mediating third party, bUt a relationship it does not make qUite on its own! and while jane's crUcifixion of sir ampora coUld certainly be constrUed as a trUly romantic pitch overtUre, the fact remains that there is jUst not enoUgh mUtUal hate, desire, or a sense of rivalry between them for this reading to make sense. at least at the moment. they're jUst good bUsiness partners! with all dUe respect, i do not believe he challenges or inspires her to achieve greater heights or to change what holds her back. and, moving to the prince and page, i once again believe yoU are ascribing deeper romantic feelings to a rather straightforward friendship. there's no rUle against two people trying and failing to properly perform a moiraillegiance (as i'm sUre oUr violet mariner can attest to), or against two people Unknowingly falling into sUch a dynamic, bUt i do not believe that is the case here, tantalizing as it may be. eridan and jake are not of the proper dispositions for sUch a dynamic to work withoUt a bit of... artistic interpretation applied. >_> when it comes to each other, that is. i sincerely believe there is a perfect pale other half for most everyone oUt there. from prince and page to page and prince. i first have to acknowledge oUr dear friend dirk's dUmbfoUnding yet insistent terminology that his relationships shoUld not and cannot be labelled Using qUadrant-related terminology. or... labelled in general? and with that disclaimer oUt of the way... this here is dead on the money. the amoUnt of times i and aUdiences of million have watched these two vacillate between their primarily flUshed dynamic and their blackened downswing, the former of which is kept exclUsively off camera and behind closed doors... i don't think there is mUch more to be said! except where it falls to roxy's involvement... which is that yoU have similarly nailed their VERY OCCASIONAL and ENTIRELY PLATONIC dynamic. as ashen relationships often are, given that they are preventative and therefor cease to exist once they are no longer needed. and to dirk and jane. how coUld i ever disagree? ^U^ i find it sweet how Unwavering he is in his sUpport of all her endeavors and ambitions. yet that sUpport only goes so far as what he believes to be in her best interest -as expected of any moirail worth their sUgar- and that sUpport tUrns to pacification and redirection onto a better path. i'm not to pridefUl to omit that they make me a little greener in the face than i typically am at times. he is... qUite the lUcky man. for being so close to her, and similarly so with roxy. AHEM. now, to address a dynamic missing in this chart, i raise to my prognosis of the pale dynamic between... er. specUlation woUld be best moved to private channels.
