@gardenGnotic hi jade! i wanted to let you know that if you are trying to make a :D face but it is coming out as a :d face instead you may be able to fix that using the website's typing quirk settings, so that it makes an exception to the uppercase letter exclusively when it is typed next to a colon.

of course it's no problem!! if that does not work then you could set it to no forced typing quirk and just type in lowercase as best you can. that is what i do!

ok try setting it up like this! i am not sure if it will work but it is worth a shot. https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/a97e85fdffa6.png just a heads up though that if you do have your thing set to always be lowercase otherwise, you will not be able to type LIKE THIS in all caps for emphasis because the quirk will automatically make it lowercase afterwards. i noticed you tried to do so in one of your posts and it had that problem, in which case it might just be better to go with no typing quirk and type in lowercase the best you can!
actually hold on. i might have a solution that can automatically fix the uppercase thing.
nevermind i think the lowercase setting is just not programmed the same way as it is on a certain other website. on there if you type LIKE THIS even with the lowercase setting it will leave it uppercase. this might be a bug or an oversight! @dynamicFlowfields
