Their relationship is so impactful that it codified the series' core themes. What you define as "deep" is clearly flawed, and wrapped in your own self-delusion. "Deep" isn't sifting through scraps, and inventing your own narrative where it barely eXists, just for the sake of being an insufferable contrarian. "Deep" is what you call the threads masterfully and deliberately sewn throughout the narrative as a whole. Being a true fan is about respecting the teXt, and developing the literacy to understand what it's trying to convey, first and foremost.
